2017 Quarter 3 Review: ETF Taxable Bond Portfolio
The ETF Taxable Bond portfolios seeks income and long-term capital appreciation. Sector and foreign market fixed income selections are governed by average maturity, duration, convexity, various yield measures, overall diversification, multi-factor macroeconomic and fundamental valuation. This portfolio is generally fully invested, but will hold additional cash if market conditions warrant. Fundamental macroeconomic analysis attempts to predict the real or intrinsic value of an investment by undertaking a comprehensive review of economic and market conditions and trends. This portfolio employs a rigorous multi-factor screening process that favors ETFs with low expense ratios, low total ownership cost, greater diversification, trading support, sponsor strength, and strong institutional support.
